  1. Very true, worst sort of holiday i can imagine is one of these lie on the beach package tours, mind numbing stuff.
  2. I find the thread mostly amusing it provides a chuckle on an otherwise grim day
  3. We'll it wouldn't be phone did ask for the opposition leader
  4. No I wouldn't because its a waste of money and i don't think there should be another now anyway, people had their chance if they couldn't be arsed the first time tough titty and as has been pointed out if they were that p1ssed off they could have made their feelings known in the general election but once again nope they didn't.It was, in the words of Cameron, a referendum and not a neverendum
  5. We don't need another referendum the first one was final, if the next one went against your opinion you'd be wanting a third just to make sure and that one you'd say was final and on and on ad infinitum.
  6. I'll just leave this here https://www.theguardian.com/business/2017/dec/18/uk-manufacturing-order-books-cbi-growth-december
  7. Hey Barry you missed this one just for BC https://www.forbes.com/sites/kurtbadenhausen/2017/12/19/the-u-k-tops-forbes-best-countries-for-business-2018/#7fae27c626de
  8. A fruit bat of the highest order one hopes he just doesn't land on any poor unsuspecting bugger
  9. I'm not worried because there won't be a second referendum imo, so how about you quit whining on like a stuck record.
  10. I was talking about reversing the decision without having a second referendum
  11. you think reversing the decision is going to heal rifts no you'll just have 52% of the voters **** off at the 48% who think they know better, the minority that lost the referendum.
  12. No you don't get it there's been a referendum its done, there's been a general election you had the opportunity again to vote for someone who said they would offer a second referendum but no, they got slaughtered and you lost then as well. The only one who's frightened is you to face the facts.
  13. But why just one more, why should that be final why not another and another ad infinitum. What if remain lose again would you stop whining? Would you feck it'd be just "oh but people didn't understand what they were voting for we need another to make sure" etc etc and on into the night. Remain lost get over it. Plus what do you think Europe will do if there was a decision to change our minds, just how much do you think it would cost us financially and politically, do you honestly think the eu is going to say ok and welcome us back with open arms all is forgiven things can just stay as they are, ****** they're going to want concessions and further integration and more money than ever before, they're going to punish us for daring to say no to them in the first place.
  14. Nobody's scared of a second referendum but how about a third or a fourth or a fifth and on and on there's always going to be a minority that lost how many times should we hold a referendum to please that minority (remain or leave it doesn't matter) ? As many times as it takes to get 100% agreement ? There was the referendum and leave won, then there was a general election where as stated by others on here the only party that offered a second referendum and an option to stay was the lib Dems and they won 12 out of 650 seats so hardly a vote to stay.Let's just suppose you get a second one and remain win, how long do those who voted leave have to wait before they are entitled to demand a third referendum to as you say "put things to bed" and after the results of that how long before someone demands a fourth. There was a vote remain lost, if people couldnt be bothered to vote tough that's hard luck, if people on either side didn't understand the question (which was pretty simple really in or out) tough.
  15. And those who wanted to remain didn't lie ?? End of the world, it would cause war in Europe etc ad nauseum..Those who voted leave had no idea what their vote meant - ****** is the best description of that comment. How many referendums do you want ? We know what the answer to that is of course, you and clod want as many as is required to get the vote you want.
  16. No need for another referendum there's already been one, its already been put to bed. the vote was to leave and leave we will.
  17. Then again they might not see them http://uk.businessinsider.com/government-refuses-to-publish-brexit-impact-reports-2017-10
  18. Well that's just the way of the world I've been to South Africa on a number of occasions and the rand has varied from 10zar to the pound to 23zar to the pound and its had bugger all to do with brexit, if you travel abroad you just have to suck it up and realize exchange rates vary from one day to the next. sometimes you win others you lose.
  19. Frankie Vali is still alive and Bobby Vinton as well though maybe of a slightly later era

    OMG!

Chester's said the person in the head dress in the village people was a man, you quoted him saying he was wrong and it was a woman which it wasn't. I corrected you as you were wrong. I suggest if your going to tell someone that their post is incorrect you read it properly first.

    OMG!

Wrong Cory, chesters is right the village people were all male and the bloke in the headdress was Felipe Rose https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felipe_RoseIt was a girl in the video Ken linked to but that isn't what chesters stated.

    Mugabe

He turned a country that was the breadbasket of Africa that helped feed many other countries into the basket case of Africa which can't even feed itself. I have friends from Zim and its a disgrace what Mugabe has done to their country.
