Hi, I will be travelling around Sri Lanka and India early in the New Year and while not primarily a Fishing Holiday I am going to try and get in as much as possible or allowed. I plan on doing whatever type of fishing I get an opportunity to Salt, Fresh, Bait and Lure, For which I have decided on a Shimano Exage 330 Travel Rod which brings me to my question does any body have any recommendations on a Reel to go with it that would cover most if not all of any circumstances I might find myself in. Try Maggots on the hook and feeding a few every couple of minutes. Works for me every time on the canal where I am

I see their are Two Supermarkets close by so be prepared to lose a lot of lures unless you go heavy on the braid as your canal is probably littered with loads of shopping trolleys. I dont even bother lure fishing any more where I am as it seemed a bit unsportly hauling in Jacks on 50lb braid
