Cheers Steve, D/Loaded that and now the Raw files open up the same as any other files :) Even shown as thumbnails in the MY Pics folder :)

SW, if you do D/L the software, then be aware that when you first open the image it looks awful, this is because it is Rendering (whatever that means :) ) After a few seconds the image is OK.

Does this happen to you Steve?

Yes it does Den, RAW files are much larger than jpegs and your video card will need a little time to draw it, faster v/cards, processors and or RAM will speed things up, but this viewer that woks for you only works for the RAWS from my old camera...not for my new one.

Windows does offer support for RAW viewing, but this is operatig system and camera dependant, for example, I can view my old 300D RAW files in Windows XP, but my 400D files wont show, and Microsoft wont update the "Windows RAW viewer" for XP...if I upgrade to Vista, I'll be able to view my 400D RAW files in windows explorer.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en <== "Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP" will support some older cameras..

SW..have a look at Keywords that might be the way forward for you, maybe elements can have keyword albums of sorts.

Have a look at this Cliff http://help.adobe.com/en_US/PhotoshopEleme...ADC637A490.html and try out "Smart Albums", that may be the way foward for you.

Steve...:)

Thanks Steve, I have DL'ed the windows RAW viewer, not sure yet if it suports D80? See tomorrow? Printed off the Adobe page, give that a read as well.
