hiya mate,

I recently had a Fox quatro pod bought me for my birthday to replace the Fox europod that I have been using for about 5 years.

I find it to be very stable and easily set up,and I would personally recommend it to any one. The case that it came in holds buzzer bars complete with buzzers attatched and of course the pod.

The only complaint that I have about it is that it won't fit in my rod holdall the way that my old Europod did.

My Quattro pod has been pretty good, although I can't claim to have put it under extreme pressure :(

And, God' honest truth, I got it from Hooked a few years ago:

I recently dipped my toe in the pod arena for the first time. Just haven't needed one until I started fishing a rese that has concrete banks.

In the end got the Fox X Pod Plus. After 30 odd trips haven't got a single complaint.

Deals with ridicualous winds without any trouble and is very adjustable, well enough for my needs.

Cheers

See my field test of the Cygnet DLX at http://anglersnet.co.uk/reviews/cygnet-quicklock.htm

For me it was much the best of umpteen models I tried out in the shops. Others I rejected as they weren't stable enough, were fiddly and/or slow to put up (horrible when it's pi$$ing down!) or weren't adjustable enough, some not being able to be set high enough.

Oh Bother, I find myself agreeing with Chesters again! Sadly, my Gardner Pro pod ( Bought secondhand, half price of new) is scratched, but does that make it any less functional/efficient?
