Jolly Japes and Billy Bream

My thanx to Gaffer and a few other lads, namely Malcolm, Paul and Gary for an entertaining nights fishing on Gaffers Local water. Good fun, food and lots of beer and wine was consumed. A few fish came out too boot, two carp, a tench and a few Billy Breams. A good bunch and very helpful. Its not true what they say about Gaffer being a tackle tart :D Although when packing up he did mention that his bivvy pegs were dirty and that he would have to put them in the dishwasher when ho got home . He also has the shiniest kettle in the world and admits to polishing it every day (the kettle that is ). I am looking forward to the next session, cheers guys.

Hi Neal, it was good to meet you and glad you enjoyed yourself.

Tackle Tart indeed! And when I thought that I'd convinced everyone that I wasn't a Tackle Tart the blooming Club Chairman's first comment was how unlike me it was to have a small crease on the back of my brolly!!

Anyhow, we had a good laugh and I'm soooooo pleased that I wasn't the first to bed!! :D

Them chicken wings and garlic bread hit the mark also.

And Neal, don't forget to get yourself a laser pen.

BTW I've just finished ironing my groundsheet!

I have a picture or two but it won't let me post them  Keeps asking for user name and password, is this Gaffers way to stop us spilling the beans? I do have a picture of his nice shiny kettle :D I think he was the first one to bed

This is before Gaffer started to wobble (far right) and went to shine his kettle :D:D

He put the Bar B Q right next to my bivvy, so now it smells like a transport cafe
