How long should you keep shelf life and frozen boilies, living in the real world?

Tricky one that....would not mind being enlightened myself...all i do know is that my cousin brushed the "fur" off an 11 day old solar salmon pop up and caught a tench in 20 mins ?!!

Mould..could it be a new tench bait !!

PS how do you use the Graemlins ??

(answer on a very big hook !"£?)

Not a great answer but in reality it's as long as you have confidence in them (ideally they're catching). I don't normally use shelf lifes but I know people who do and use them for probably up to a year - mind you we haven't a clue when they were put on the shelf or made.

 

As for frozen baits I keep and use them for up to a year I suppose, but once out of the freezer I'm happy with them for 3 or 4 days and if I have no choice I'll use them for a week.
