Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle

I had a couple in my youth, but I must admin I fail to miss the point . .

the average black prince had less bb's than it took to shot a canal dart . .

and the bail arm didn't half wrap your knuckles in the cold . . plus the fighting drag was not exactly upto todays standards . .

there again on the rivers I am almost totally a pin man nowadays . .

hey waddaya know I can spell tomato !

what did you expect for the price :)

ahh I see the twin model had a line roller . . did it work ?
yes and no. morritt "invented" the roller but it had to be oiled regularily otherwise the line just passed over it rather than turning it ,still it was better than nothing :)

all todays reels have rollers and twin speed spool oscilation another intrepid "invention" i suppose with the elites 3 position anti reverse morritt also invented the bait runner but thats open to discussion :D

The early Daiwa I referred to, is the 7350RL. This has been my mainstay 'big fish' reel for many years. It retired for a year or so, in the late seventies, because I cross-threaded the front drag adjuster: my tackle dealer eventually came up with a spare that fitted, although it was black, rather than dark-red. It is still my first choice for carp or pikefishing and, despite not having a skirted spool, has never trapped line behind the spool.

You meet all kinds of animal on the riverbank.
