Yes, although I said in an earlier post that I would not buy second-hand, I'm always open to change my mind if the evidence warrants it.

 

So I looked at it, put in a lowish bid for it - and, to my surprise, won it. Arrived this morning and I have tested it out, works fine, and links up perfectly with the extra lenses, lenshoods, computer etc etc I already have.

 

There is a bonus - my original A80, under threat of replacement, is now behaving itself - who said cameras were non-sentient?

 

So thanks mate, I owe you one !

I've just been back on the bargains site that I mentioned before and they are listing a very good deal on the Sony A200 DSLR.

 

This is a nice camera. A German mate of mine has one and it's very well made.

 

Not for me just yet though. My Fuji S7000 will do 12m pixels and I'll wait for the next generation of CCD's that will resolve 24 - 30m Pixels and respond better in low light before I go splashing my hard earned and move up to a DSLR.
