AMAZING DEALS ON FISHING AND GOLF GEAR AT NETTO

Anglers' Net

Recommended Posts

Some of that stuffs ok but the rest can't be at all good for the fish.

Some of the stuff for sale may well be not much good to seasoned anglers but its no different to the general tat thats on offer in any supermarket or outdoor shop these days or even starter kits as sold by some big retailers, but there is always something there for the experianced angler to buy

The problem with fishing gear as a whole is that most of what we use is'nt "good for the fish", if we really want to do whats good for the fish perhaps we should forgo hooks

Wasn't really my point. I can see your point though. A £5 reel can only invite disaster. The sort of line on these will be brittle and useless and end up being trailed around by a fish after it has snapped way before its breaking strain. Those reels can only invite one type of inexperienced thoughtless angler that will probably go straight afer carp with it, no doubt with an equally cheap useless rod.

Fishing handlines pack of 5?

I trust these are for crabbing for the kids or something!!!!

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Ah you say that Worms but I'd happily take on just about anyone at fishing for pollack with a handline..and with the right length of wood, I know how to CAST them.....but yes, I'd rather go crabbing with them. That's plenty of fun.

I dont think the packs of 5 handlines will be used for pollack or crabs in fact id say they are mostly likely to be used for an any species that swims approach & i dont mean in saltwater, i expect these to be found on rivers, canals , club lakes , commercials, all over the country . If this was The Apprentice im sure Sir Alan would say what a load of old tut

The more i practice the luckier i get :)
