I use 4-5" quills and they take around 0.4g

Not heard of those Steve, I'll have an Google and keep my eyes/ears open.

 

Not sure if they've been made for a long time. Imagine a crystal waggler, made of tougher plastic and black or green rather than clear.

5m away in 1m depth of water - not under the rod tip. Hence the waggler.

one just fishes parallel to the bank, in the margins, but 5m to the left or right of the swim. :thumbs:
