Having been almost totally anonymous in an England shirt for the last few years it'll be a surprise if anyone notices he's gone.

i believe he now realises that sven is going to keep his job ; and i am almost certain that there are members of the current english sqaud who do not like the way england play . perhaps if england get a a new manager then he might come back because at his best he is an asset ,

wag i think if you have noticed that england on paper have some of the best midfield players in the world but they do not play as a unit surely the manager must take the blame .

I think Scholes is one of the best midfielders we have ever had, but unfortunately he has had to play for a procession of managers who didn't know what to do with him, and with a selection of players of lesser ability. Not scoring for three years must tell you something.

The current squad is as good as we've had for ages, but we still don't seem to be able to get a system of play that suits the players strengths.

oh cmon me get real old smith is an average player at best . the only thing he is famous for is losing his temper . unless you mean alan smith who helps out on bskyb?
