Well they are two different types of grounbait.

I like Supercup for fishing canals, it's a light groundbait which gives off a very good cloud in the water that doesn't really fill fish up.

I would say it's a surface and mid water type and will not really make big balls of heavy grounbait for making a carpet on the bottom of a lake.

It's a sort of attracter, something to get em going, the cloud and smell will attract fish and intoduced little and often will work.

What species are you after, what sort of depth of water is this lake, if it is deep maybe best to go for the Sensas Lake, I haven't used this but I'm sure given that name it will have good binding properties to it but will be heavy, most likely desgined to go straight to the bottom of the lake bed.

For me they are two totally different typed of groundbait, Supercup for fine surface and mid water fishing giving off a good atractive cloud and Lake which I reckon is for heavier deep lake fishing.

If I had to chose one it would be Supercup, combined with the pole or close range wagler it would be a good combination.

What depth is the lake and what are your target species?

i like the sensus but we had a very clear pond last year and spotted fish deliberatly skirting the groundbait on the bottom so as not to expose themselves (to predators i presume from above) but thats in 3 feet of water ,this year if i can find one i will be throwing black or brown groundbait ,unfortunatly in this area molehills are sand coloured so of no use
