Just seen this on the AA website.

 

Petrol prices

 

 

How much do you pay per litre?

 

Look at the tax on the unleaded?

Didn't the government encourage us to use u/l for the benefit of the environment?

 

Funny how the gloss things over ain't it.

 

 

Now you smokers beat that for paying tax. :D

s'funny really init? thegovernment persuaded everyone to use unleaded and at the time it was a lot cheaper and as soon as everyone switched the price shot up.

 

Now they are saying use gas, its really cheap (avg 32p lt)

now how long will it be before they whallop a massive tax hike on that stuff?

 

Easy really, when there's enough people using it to warrent the hike.

its true alan. ive been thinking about getting a gas kit for a long time, but theres no point doing it now, as tax is sure to be raised on it soon. i wish i'd done it years ago then i could have made the most of it
