Nudibranches are ocean going slugs and must surely rate as the most spectacular molluscs.

how come there are goose barnacles AND barnacle geese ?

 

It used to be believed that the barnacle goose grew from the barnacle.... :blink:

'Tis true, Gerald of Wales a medieval Welsh clergyman even claimed to have witnessed the metamorphosis of a goose from a barnacle.

A member of the church, telling porkies, would you credit it?
