a tad american this site ,most "questions" are un answerable as we dont have the equivelent such as "high school" and other stuff ,i just clicked anything that looked remotely making sence :(

the spammer one is worse total gobbly gook

i want questions where i can fill in the answer not have to chose 1 from a set number of pre set ones

those in themselves based on some one elses idea of what the answers are to get the end result

You almost have to. Divide the early education years (age 5 to 17-18) that are free to all (well, paid from from taxes) into grades 1 through 12 with grade 1 being the earliest.

Grades 9-12 are considered 'high school'.

May be a different name and possibly different age ranges but I'm almost certain the UK has public education to some extent. Don't you?

You are Windows 1.0. You're a worthless piece of crap that should've never been born. Luckily, your parents were able to conceive again. They rarely let you out of the closet."><

US version

Grades 1-12 called "Public School" and totally tax supported so no direct cost to parents with kids in school (unless the parents opted for a private school and paid the fees).

Grammar School - Grades 1-4 (so the first 4 years so ages 6-10 or in some areas ages 5-9)

Middle School - Grades 5-6 (ages 11-12)

Junior High School - Grades 7-8 (ages 13-14)

High School - Grades 9-12 (ages 15-18) and the end of the free, public education.

High school graduation is required to enter a regular 4 year college for those that want to and are prepared to pay for it. Also required for entry into the military and for many jobs that don't involved flipping hamburgers and don't require additional education.

No formal apprentice program in lieu of public school is available.

so U.S high school = U.K. college ,i see it now ,we can go to college at any age (it may be free or paid for depending on circumstance) university the same but usually paid for either up front or for the rest of your life :(

i missed college, leaving in the 3rd year didnt help :( but did go for 3 years at the age of 42, 1 year paid for by the government 2 by the university to get my City and Guilds (an almost obselete certificate hardly recognised nowadays :( ) seems as soon as you get 1 certificate anothers the "in" thing

the C&G certificate is far prettier than the others tho`. The aprentiship nowadays is really a term for cheap labour ,the company either gets rid of you before you finish the 3 years (or more) under some pretext or goes bankrupt :( i did start one after leaving school in printing but my restless parents decided to move to another county  about 18 months in
