Didn't see this one, but a tricky one. I've also seen this done with sushi, where the bones of a fish were still moving when the dish was served up!

Eels move when they are dead, dont worry. You can have an eel chop its head off after its dead and the body still moves. One of the mates was cooking eel segments in a pan and the sections of the eel were visibly wiggling!

Not very nice to see but part of life.

Yes, they will move after being freshly killed, but they did complement the womans skill at gutting live Eels so, as Socksy says, very unpleasant. Do those fellas 'bat for the other side' though?

Probably the most refreshing cookery style programme ive seen for ages.....a breath of fresh air!! :)

 

I beleive it was a one off pilot, but they've had a series commissioned on the strength of it.....

 

oo oo oo lets hope they don't hurt any more poor fishes eh? :D
