If you haven't already done so please would those coming to the Fish-In let me know if they're coming to the BBQs on either both Saturday and/or Sunday lunchtime.

 

All the food and drink will be provided. However, please let me know if you have any special dietary requirements, e.g. vegetarian.

 

There's no charge, but my bailiffs have worked their socks off getting everything ready, so rather than give a donation to me you're welcome to contribute to their "Thank-You Box".

Glyn, a Forum member and one of my bailiffs is fishing there now and had a 3-06 perch this morning. I had planned to fish myself but I'm too knackered!

 

I did have a look round today with a guest and we saw a shoal of big tench under a tree next to the swim you fished last year. One of the fish was possibly a double!

 

I didn't take the water temperature today but, although it was warm, there was a distinct nip in the air due to an easterly sea breeze. However, it wasn't so chilly as the last few days when the wind has been north-easterly.

 

My guess is that Saturday won't be brilliant but that fishing will gradually improve each day.

I know I said No Steve but I might get hungry, if there is a burger or something going I may have one on Saturday, i'm trying to lose a bit of weight you see :D
