Hemp Not Splitting

I've never tried the thermos method. Is there a way to do it in larger quantities? I'm banned from boiling hemp in the house - I can't understand why, it's the best smell in the world! - so the thermos trick would be great, if I could do enough at once.

When i was doing a lot of summer barbelling i went through a lot of hemp (3-4 pints X 3-4 X a week). This didn't make me to popular in the kitchen.

 

Big jam pan on a camp stove outside or in the shed/garage works, but the easiest way i found was to use big old cool box and do it the same way as with a flask. Helps if you sit it on some insulation if its on a cold garage floor or outside (a lump of polystyrene) and put some old fishing coats over it to help keep the heat in. Should be ready 24 hours later.
