I went into my local tackle shop the other day and they do not sell hemp to cook yourself-is this common?

 

All they had was pre-cooked at a silly price.

 

Have I been away that long?

try looking for a local animal feed supplier they sometimes have it

Have a look at the online bait suppliers too, you can still get sackfuls of uncooked hemp for next to nothing.

I got a huge sack of uncooked hemp from my pet supermarket (eg pets at home etc). I asume its sold as a horse feed? Anyway, it was a few quid for more than you could use in a season or two! Just soak it, cook it and freeze it.

I got a 20 kg sack of hemp for £18 from my local petshop I know some of the online bait suppliers where selling it even cheaper
