ps the bag is great same as jrc fox etc but without the £30 + price tag.

I've just been into Aldi and picked up a couple of the shoulder type bags. There like a small version of the korum tackle and bait bag. They seem ok ...not fantastic but I suppose more of a realistic price than a lot of other fisdhing gear. I think they would suite the roving angler who really does take very little gear with them as they really are quite petite and not much use to a lot of anglers. I would advise anyone wanting one to get to a store asap as there seemed to be a few angly types buying gear up !

I have just been down there too, picked up the rod bag, small holdall and the headlamp, i also picked up the beach caster rod as i fancy having a go at that this year all for under 50 quid its not the best stuff but when ur on a budget will do the job

Also got my self down there today, got a rod bag and the small tackle bag. thought it would do to get me started.

just got my self the 8m pole looks good to me not bad as wanted start pole fishing but didnt want 2 spend hundreds just to get pole

i went down today and got the rod , not a bad price and seeing as im a complete newbie at fishing then it will do,

dont want to spend to much to soon

what do you think about the bait selection they've got ?????

i would get the bait from tackle shop as with the aldi stuff u dont know if it going to work and the tackle shop stuff isnt that much more expensive anyway
