Thames poluted again

It is a national disgrace Mike. But knowing that London, and Parliament in particular, takes more from the countryside than is fair, I fail to see why we rural types should pay for this one.

Is it not also a disgrace that many millions where lavished on a water bypass around Maidenhead and Windsor to ease the suffering of the rich and famous when the waters rise and flood the natural flood plain, that their expensive real estate now inhabits?

 

I think so..Just how much was spent here and to what final benefit?..if any.
