lure bucket

I cant remember who posted about using a bucket to store lures in but i stole the idea and made one.

All the lures in the pic are new, i treat myself to some new ones every year.

 

Hopefully they will all be good

 

The creek chub pikies have been VERY good to me in the past, so that is one i get new every year, usually due to the hamering its predecessor gets the season before

They do camo buckets in Angling Direct. Now that would be the ultimate . Just don't kick it!

 

A bucket within a bucket is a good idea as it means you can hang lures inside & outside the inner bucket. Nice touch!

But if you drill holes in the bottom you can't then use it for buck-it-and-chuck-it activities nor will it bail a sinking boat out so quickly! Plus, any water swilling about in the bottom of the boat will enter the bucket! Other than that there is a certain logic to Gerry's suggestion!

 

Don't do camo!!??? But how can you be taken for a serious angler otherwise?

Having holes in the bottom of a bucket, and not doing camo is decidedly odd! But us native inbreds who still go ohhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhh when an aeroplane flies overhead tend to be decidely odd!!
