There's a few in the Loddon/Chedgrave area I've seen and I believe there are a few hardy holders on in Thetford Forest but I can't personally vouch for these.

I wouldn't exterminate the grey squidgel but then I have raised them from a few days old. Same with foxes, rabbits, seagulls, hedgehogs to name but a few.

I can virtually guarantee that in my situation, you would have a change of heart unless it is a blackened, shrivelled husk.

Yes it would be nice to have some more Reds around but I can't believe that killing the Greys will help. You'd never get all of them and it only started with a few in the first instance.

Life is as dear to the mute creatures as it is to man.

Just as one wants happiness and fears pain,

Just as one wants to live and not to die,

So do other creatures.

My stance is that if you kill it, eat it.

I fully agree with this part of your post at least

My stance is that if you kill it, eat it.

and I will add

My stance is if you eat it, be willing to kill it.

Read my profile and I can skin anything and butcher anything and cook anything from the fish/animal/reptile/bird species that is edible. I have also caught end eaten many insects and bugs although they have not always been cooked.

I think it makes sense. If an animal is to die, then consume it as nature intended.

My Grandad taught me to skin a rabbit (clipped the paunch once or twice mind!), Mum to descale and gut fish, Nan to pluck and prepare a chicken, never eaten (or killed to my knowledge) a reptile but as long as it's edible, I'll try it.

*Although I do hold up my hands and admit it was a while since I did prepare any of the above.*

The killing is the easy part.

Yes I have eaten sheeps eyeballs and bulls testicles AND I knew what they were before I ate them.

I like my steak 'still mooing'.

Never knowingly tried insects bar the odd fly that slams into the back of my throat at 100+ on the bike.

The only thing I dislike so far is Tomatoes, don't know why, but if I'm hungry they get eaten too.

I'm only 11st to boot.

I like the addition, it works well!

Guys any plans to enter Come Dine With Me? It might be the most interesting episode yet if you two were on at the same time :D

Or any plans to make a TV show?

Watatoad & Renrag in the Wild - We see it, We kill it, We eat it.

It would be a double act to give Ray Mears & Bear Grylls a run for their money :D

All I can say to that Dales is thank F*** Rods' more 'advanced' than me, think I'll be able to outrun him and as for myself, I don't like my meat too chewy so he's safe too!

:bigemo_harabe_net-163:

Bear Grylls would be more than appropriate and Ray Mears, looks fatty but sure he'd make a good bit of crackling...

Do forgive me Rod, I couldn't resist it

The episode with you both dropped off in the middle of the desert might be quiet interesting. Once all the scorpions and lizards have gone and you both have not eaten for a few days. There might be some nervous looks across the old camp fire, as you both start to look like a Sunday lunch to each other :D

Yeah I like Ray, but Bear would be top of my list to cull and pass over to the chef if I we crashed in the middle of nowhere.
