Playing catch up with loads of my pictures last night :o Made a start on my Chatsworth House folder. Went there with the wife and was well impressed. The house itself is well worth a visit,full of valuable and interesting subjects.

 

What pulled my string was the grounds and its modern art sculptures. Now I am not really a fan of most "modern art" and cannot understand a lot of it :rolleyes: These sculptures were different,what do you think? any good?

 

Will keep adding a few on as I work through the folder.

Quite interesting, they look like reasonably anatomically correct models of the skeletal muscular system, I quite like them but I can't say I'd spend a fortune on having one in my garden though, but then i wouldn't give a Henry Moore garden room either.

Not my thing but I do enjoy a wonder around gardens and think that would put me off a little.

They're definitely interesting pieces of work, and there's a damn sight more artistry gone into those than some infamous modern pieces we could mention, but a statue of a man flaying himself wouldn't be something I'd choose for ornamental value!
