Scopex - What exactly is it?

Greetings Fellow Members, Again :)

Sat watching I did the ever pleasant Matt Hayes on Friday morning, on the telly I hasten to add. Matt, as ever, was full of chat & he was fishing for chub on the River Test. He caught several, and one or three of these were well over 5 lb, "Good work if you can get it", alas not around here where I reside. <_<

To continue - Matt was telling us all how to prepare ground bait for River Test chub, and one of the ingredients was the attractant Scopex. Now, I'm a coarse fishing amateur, but I use Scopex on regular basis, mainly 'cos I've seen such a Matt using it, not to mention the frequent mention it gets in such magazines as IYCF. :)

Thus, my question is quite simple - what is Scopex, what is make of & all the rest? No doubt the professionals out there will be able to assist?

Regards,

Mr H. :)

Attractant found in fruit? I thought it just smelled like evaporated milk, butterscotch or caramel....something to that effect.

I thought it smelt like Cream Soda crossed with a hint of Vanilla, and maybe a little sweetcorn juice.

Don't know, never used it, but I have smelt it and immediately began thinking of ways to eat and prepare it for myself. Smells damn good!
