I've no personal experience of big bream, largely because they're supposed to be predominently nocturnal, and my rods come in then even if I'm kipping on the bank. (I like my sleep!) Have others found the same?

Steve Randles caught a 10lber at the last Wingham fish in. This came early morning and another guest lost one at about the same time. That was 2 years ago, and so the bream are likely to be a lot bigger - Bruno Broughton read the scales at just 8 years old. Hopefully, at next month's fish-in one of you will catch a "Wingham Whacker"!
