No fishing for me today (Sunday) got family coming to stay for a few days, but went for a walk with the dogs up to the "top field" and got blown sideways a few times and nearly hit by large falling branch.

Exhilarating weather!!

6 of us braved the elements on sunday, boy was it windy, leaves & twigs flying about all over the place. we were supposed to fish the Hob Hole but we all forgot to pack our surfing gear so we went round the corner to the Sibsey Trader the wind was going over the top a bit there so it was a bit more fishable. Still only caught 7 tiddlers between us, i caught 4 of em and won the match, poor old Bob who had the 'golden peg'lost a big tench at the net,LOL, that cost him £111.50 as you can imagine the rest of us offered our deepest sympathies :D:D:D:D

Raining here in the midwest US also, a gentle mist, but no wind and temps in the 60's. Now I'll gloat a little. Fishing for Buffalo, a species not found in the UK in the sucker family.

In four 3 or 4 hour sessions between rains must have caught 4 or 5 hundred pounds of fish in the 10 - 20 lb range with the largest being about 25 -30 lbs. Buffalo love the rain. Had a blast.
