Before I bought a pair of Fox Warriors last year (available at around £45), I looked at the Wychwoods - for the same money the Fox's were way more comfortable to use, and frankly look and feel of a far higher quality - I got a freebie Okuma Dynadrag Pro reel - readily available for under £20 - my son has had a 22lber on those.

I'd certainly recommend the Okuma reels. I've been using one of the small interceptor baitrunners for chub and barbel for the last year and can't fault it.
