You need to buy a Wakefield angling book which costs £20 i think and gives you a choice of waters.

Newmiller is a big lake and as got some good quality fish in .

The bream and tench grow big and the pike are monsters.

My mate will post a message here as he as bought the wakefield book.

Fished the place a few years back some good bream to be had on the feeder and worm, waggler will produce skimmers.

Bad points dogs and dog owners walking past all day and a strong smell of Dog Sh*t.

Newmillerdam is not a bad place to fish but I aint fished it for a long time so cannot help with recent catches, I know you have to park in the PAY & DISPLAY car park but don't know how much it is, which I think stinks after you have paid 20quid for the Wakey book. There are some cracking bream in there and swimfeeder and maggot/caster used to do the business but it is now pole and pellet that is catching. There are only certain areas where you can fish as it is a wildlife park, try this link for more info.
