Rod Licence For Next Season

At last.

I have tried several times but could only buy last/this years, not this/next years.

I made an enquiry about the Rod licence via the EA web-site. They replied saying the rod licence would be available from the 13th March.

I bought mine Tuesday from the EA site and it arrived Thursday. No problems at all

A couple of weeks back I arranged Sarahs and my own licences by Direct Debit with the EA. A week later we recieved a letter of confirmation from them. So far so good, no discount offered though.

Oredered mine Friday arrived this morning (Tuesday). Just as quick as lat year, so what if it was an extra 25p. Saves me having to go to the post office

It never ceases to amaze me that people expect a discount from the EA for buying their rod licence by direct debit....

buying licences online or by Direct Debit is as much a convenience for you as it is for the EA, and at the rates charged for the licence can hardly be said to be excessive.

 

Frankly they are still having to pay for postage and you are spared the ballsache of having to queue at the Post Office.

 

I can honestly say that I have only ever seen good work done by the EA and certainly don't begrudge the cost of a licence at current levels.

It's great that you can buy your licences on line and do not have to queue at the post office.

 

However surly the people who need this service most are the elderly and the disabled. Guess who can't buy on line :confused:

well all that reminding eventually prompted me to renew . . done it again over the old web with the credit card . .
