I forgot to add if you need to use treblers then I convert mine with wire weed guards.Dead cheap and simple.Any one who doesnt know how to do this and wants to just let me know and I will do a few diagrams.

One great advantage of the Zara Mouse type of hook arrangement is that the hook goes in 'bend' first so it doesn't catch on the cast. A loose hanging treble folds back on itself so the point is facing forward on entry to a reed-bed. It then sometimes catches and restricts penetration, or it knocks the hook guard to one side. Whoever designed the Zara Mouse was a pretty clued up angler in my estimation. Okay, so its not a perfect lure for hooking a fish, but I get to fish that otherwise I mightn't otherwise get anywhere near.
