I only have hot water in my flasks preffering to make my drink as needed as it tastes far better.

Anyway I only drink black coffee or black tea no sugar.

I do have a smaller flask which has a drop of grouse in.

Quite right.I just take a flask with water in it and a choice selection of drinks.6 cups of the same bad coffee that goes cold after 5 minutes leaves you screaming for some soup or a hot choccie.

Two small flasks of tea. These stay hotter than one big flask.

The secret of making nice tea in a flask is to make it weak. Even with teabags it continues brewing in the flask. There's no need then to fiddle about with separate milk.
