What are the hot spots at the moment in Hertfordshire for Pike Fishing?

 

Any information would be most helpful.

Dobbs weir on the river lea at hodderson east herts is always worth a go and there are some coming out although i don't know what size. mind you it does get a lot of angling pressure get more info at

Most of the Lea is worth a shot. Dobb's Weir gets a lot of pressure though due to easy access. You might do better if you're prepared to wander much further away from the car parks etc. That's what I do anyway. Plenty of nice chub and perch too.

If you wander the river between Rye House and St Margarets you should do reasonably well to lures or baits.

 

St Margarets excellent if you are not after monsters, lots of fish up to five pounds.

 

But if you are prepared to walk away from the well fished areas you can do well from Hertford all the way down to Cheshunt.
