attaching bite alarms to buzz bars

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I have been trying to attach my set of alarms to a buzz bar but no matter how i try i am unable to get the alarms facing the corect way, any suggestions or advice would be a great help. Is there a secret i do not know about.

Cheers

STC PM me your postal address and I will send you some rubber "O" rings.Stick these on the screw thread first and then screw your alarms on.

Yes rubber "o" rings might be ok but for an longer lasting solution is an Gardner Leather Lock Washer

Growing old is inevitable but growing up is optional

Which alarms do you have? many have a locking ring in the threads so that you can align them correctly on the buzz bars. Just get the alarm sitting level, then tighten the locking ring down to the buzz bar.

Hope this helps.

Hi Phil

Got a set of Gardener atts, (very nice). Have got a set of bank sticks that I could use but really wanted to cut down on the weight i am carrying, hence the buzz bars. Will look into it.

Cheers again for the advice guys
