The JW Avon system quiver is a very fine rod and may well be what you need. However if you want an Avon quiver system with just a little more backbone have a look at the Greys Prodigy Barbel rod don't be put off by the barbel bit in the name it is a superb all rounder I have the 12 foot three piece version which is ideal for me as the sections are all the same length and thus the rod can be hidden in the car. The rod also comes with an extra quiver top with three quiver tips the rrp is £99 but you should be able to negotiate a bit off this.

minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which

holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd

by the clean end"

I use a Drennan super specialist,

many have doubted the test curve capabilites.

Many of todays match rods are designed using the new progressive power technology available (Prestons Caron active and Map parabolix are two) :

S'cuse my ignorance here but do you mind explaining how the test curve can increase. I thought the test curve was the force that put the rod tip at 90 degrees to the butt which would therefore be fixed for a particular rod.

Havnt a clue!!!!!
