Hi Scoobs,

 

Any chance of directions. I have found Longtown on the map, but where to from there ?

 

How much, and what sort of bait would you advise ? Any bans / rules we need to be aware of ?

 

Finally, do you want me to bring stuff for the barbeque ? Beer / Sausages both seem to spring to mind.

Will be up on Sat Will be bringing Chicken & Sausages for the Bar-B-Q about 5lb of each

any more news on a more detailed map, will be staying both days. What time do you want us up at longton for.

PS she's decided not to come....very upset biggrin.gif, do I need to bring much more food for the BBQ, will be bringing plenty of beer anyway,

once you reach longtown,

head for scotland that takes you over the bridge then take your second left.

you cant miss it.

as for food,just bring whatever you fancy.

time wise that really up to you , i'll be there in my ickle green tent on friday night (it should be next to a red/grey astra van)so if you get there and i'm asleep in the morning wake me up smile.gif lol

as for bait going by what i'v been told its boilies for the big carp then maggots / corn / meat for the rest.

i know the owner but have never got round to fishing it myself till now.

so really your guess is as good as mine about bait.

i am contacting him today about prices, so will get back to you on that.

ok prices= £6 for 2 rods for a day

£8 for 3 rods

£10 for 24 hours

£15 for both days sat + sun
