royalty and the new forest

thinkin of visitng the area for a holiday next year so need as much info as possible really. fisheries to visit, tackle shops, gear needed etc. also anyone know any good camp site around the area, im sure there are loads but any that stand out, or that are on fisheries themselves?

Just came back from Sandy Balls (yes I know it is a funny name) but it is a great place. I took the wife and kids and there is plenty for them to do, plus they have a private streach of the Hampshire Avon as well. look them up on the net.

I stayed here last year, theres plenty for the family, Kiddies play area, pub, resturant etc, and is 20 mins from Christchurch.

They also have thier own Stretch of the Avon, but it was low and VERY weedy when I was there, I did manage a roach and a few minnows though ;-)

 

We liked it enough that the Wife is keen to book up again next year!
