carpers do my head in sometimes with crap like that

never caught a tench under 6lbs in little frensham they just love boilies

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

Caught little tiny 3 and 4inch tench on maggots and pole from the lake above the Pollard at Snodland (the long thin lake) Caught them over several sessions.

 

There were also carp the same size, so they probably were the result of a good spawning year. Can't be sure of that, as I only did one season on there.

I have never caught a tench under 10lbs except for the ones when I visited the UK.

 

{note: there are no tench where I live so I have not caught a tench OVER 10lbs either.}
