self cocking floats

one big disadvatage of self cocking floats is that they tend to dive very deep on the cast, and could then spook fish in shallow water!

Small shot are usually easiest to place with either forceps, tweezers or needle nose pliars, I tend to use my forceps for size 10 and below, don't have a problem with 8s. Preston slip seems particularly hard, I tried it but moved back to Sensas coated for 8s and Maver for 10s and 12s.

please dont use them for pike,as the are loaded they wont show takes as postively as an unloaded one.please use for other fish but not pike,as they will inevitably end up deep hooked.

try using anchor quick shot. You get a little aplicator which pushes into the shot box,two turns and your done it comes out in this applicator the slit side everytime.then all you do is squeeze it on the line with the doodah.

Buy it! it has to be seen to be believed!
