An otter has been found dead in an illegal eel net in Lincolnshire.

The otter was just the headline. I don't see anyone biychin' about the dead otter - they are biychin' about the eel trap. (I just read the first page, maybe 3 paragraphs.)

For an illegal eel trap to hit the BBC news is something else, not exactly a crimewatch issue is it! I am sure the otter would be the issue with the BBC

I was agreeing with you. I know eels are a sensitive subject but I thought the article was going to be about world peace. And to think I watch (and read) BBC here in America from time to time.

perhaps it was an illegal otter trap?
