A few bream

Heres a few bream from my weekends fishing.

Not huge by the big bream specialists standards here but with the river closed I chose a nice big reservoir to spend the weekend and catch a few.

I will be spending some time here until rivers season opens trying to find the bigger bream and just enjoying the peace and tranquility of this big water.

Daytime is pretty much a wipe out although fishing tip rods during daylight I had a few roach and hybrids including a beautifull roach that weighed 1.1lbs lovely colours and probably never seen a hook. I have had bigger from here as I have with the bream but this is a new season and its still cold.

I had 6 bream friday night and seven saturday although with it raining so hard saturday I pulled rods in from 12.30 until about 4 as all my equipment was soaked and the one warm dry thing left was my sleeping bag and I wanted to keep it that way.

These are self take photo's and really I only post this as as I had taken the photo's to practise self take pics to see how they come out. As I just downloaded them i thought I might aswell post them here as in the past, some have been interested in my fishing reports and pics.

This is a conventional net shot

This is a practise run at self take I was a bit slow and forgot something

These are better ones, getting the hang of selftake.

Not huge fish but a very enjoyable session all the bream were within a pound or two this was not the biggest but came came just at daylight when it was not hissing down for a change.
