Businesses 'dramatically affected' by water shortage

Hose pipe bans come into force next week across southern and eastern England, and yesterday there was more bad news from the environment agency: river levels in England and Wales are now as low as they were in 1976. Just driven down the Pang Valley - could have driven down the Pang itself - bone dry down to Bucklebury (and probably beyond :( )

C.

I went for a ride around your way a couple of weeks ago Chris, got completely lost and ended up going across a sort of man made ford on Brocks Lane. I guess that was the Pang, it was dry then.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

Im a regular at Ardingly, this time of year the water is usually at full level - went down last week to find a 60-80 foot walk to the waters edge, which prob equates to about 10-12 in depth.
