Hi Newt,

A mate at at work has just come back from holiday in America & has been offered the chance of working in America as a manager of a friend's riding school stable's. any website's or do you have any info on how to go about getting a green card.

Go to www.google.com and type this into the search :- USA Immigration green card

This will give you loads of sites that specialise and they should have links to the official .gov site, whatever it is. These sites may tell you what you need to know in clearer language as well.

Here for an official government site. Huge amounts of information but not as easy to find as the commercial sites tend to be.

chesters1 - I got the "speak funny" part. Also the "big hooter" part. The other is in some strange dialect though and I haven't a clue what an american penniless slapper might be. Can you educate me? I am trying hard to learn your language but lordy it is difficult some times.
