true,but what about the cornmarrant ravaged waters?some of them(mainly rivers)havent been touched for years,maybe not "virgin" waters but still a bit of pioneering to do.to me that would be finding fish, areas they feed etc bit of "recon" if ya like not strictly pioneering i know but like you say you make your own magic...

Newt whats a "bermed" area?

Levees are mounds of dirt piled along the side or sides of a river to prevent flooding.

 

Dig holes to gather the material (and the holes, called 'borrow pits' make great lakes after a few years) and make a dirt pile of whatever height is needed along miles of river bank to control where spring flooding happens.

 

Like These but miles long and protecting land along a river rather than a crossing.
