Newt:

Properly Cilantro and AKA Chinese Parsley, Coriander, Joh tsu (Hmong); koendoro (Japanese); yuan sui (Mandarin Chinese); yim sai (Cantonese Chinese); yun tsai (Chinese); kinchi (Filipino); rao mui (Vietnamese).

Isn't it a terrible feeling when you realise how uneducated you are.

I've obviously spent too much of my time around cows, bricklayers and other animals.

Newt:

And FWIW, I think part of our problem is too few folks with guns. Areas over here (rural and smaller towns) where each home is assumed to have at least a shotgun or two and a rifle with competent users has very few robbery problems - and even fewer repeat offenders.

Couldn't agree more, Newt.

Haven't seen any coverage of the centrefire pistol competition at the commonwealth games yet!!

FWIW????

Err...

doesn't daylight robbery in the states usually involve idiots being taken advantage of?

eg getting them to buy the products from AV vendors, firewall companies, trade named products, TV advertisements?

or ..

..in general.... "living the american dream"?

From Snakeheads to cilantro to shoot outs at high noon...

Listen, you guys just got to come over here some time. Just don't speak with an English accent, drink coffee not tea, eat with your fork in your right hand with the tines up, never ever eat at a restaurant called "Mom's" or even worse, "Good Eats" and...

On the other hand, maybe not such a good idea. You may have trouble with the natives!

Kids think that NRA stands for National Record of Achievement. Environmentallists think it stands for National Rivers Authority. REAL people KNOW that it stands for National Rifle Association.
