everyone told me that guiness was better in ireland,

i was so happy when i found out they were lying.

does'nt matter where it is its cr@p.

its so rare i go out i have no idea what a pint costs.

oh and i'm cumbrian so i'm naturally prudent and well mannered enough to allow who ever i'm out with to buy the beer.

on the subject of drink tho, the foulest thing i'v ever drunk apart from londons pride bitter(no wonder cockneys are so annoying if thats the best bitter they get served) is snakebite using bitter instead of lager.it even looks foul.

Nothing! I let somebody else pay!

What does Guinness taste like anyway?

I suppose lemonade and blackcurrent is even more expensive!!

Whilst on holiday in the lake district last week (Pooley Bridge, Nr Penrith) I paid £2.00 for a pint of Orange Squash and lemonade and was horrified. Following night thought I'd just have Orange squash and WATER (from the tap!) and still got charged £1.20. Spoke to manager who said complacenly "You don't have to Stay". Needless to say I didn't!!! and the clubhouse got no more custom from me. Simply brought a bottle of squash from the site shop for 89p and sat outside the club to drink it. Fetching water from the adjacent shower block was no different to walking up to the bar and you should've seen the club managers face, what a picture, 1-0 to the customer thinks I!!!!

One good reason to do something is better than a thousand bad excuses not to.
