The one listed Here does what you want and the basic system is free - download.

 

Not positive about it working with the UK phone system but it certainly may.

I've used BT's 1571 for a while now and don't feel the need for a seperate answer phone.

 

If you don't answer, 1571 takes a message. If your engaged, 1571 takes a message.

 

1571 even calls you back about 20 minutes later to let you know you have a message. If the phone is still engaged, the dial tone changes so that the next time you use the phone you know you have at least one new message.

 

For a free service I have been very impressed.
