Fuel at Asda

Recommended Posts

Went to Adsa last night to do the monthly shop. Driving out i noticed the price of the fuel. 73.9 for diesel thats cheap. Well still bloody rip off but that 3p cheaper than every where else. Not sure on the petrol prices as my oil burner don't like it. But if i was you go to Asda for some fuel.

Buy red diesel - only 29p a litre.

Whoops forgot, it's not legal to run road vehicles on it. But how often do they check ...

You would be amazed how many road checks the

customs do on fuel, once you use red diesel in your tank traceable amounts will still show up

years after on roadside test they do, so beware

I was a naughty boy at work tonight .

A "traveller" aka hippy turned up at the garage to fill up his old bedford camper, on the side in big letters was " support green peace".

When he came in i asked him if it was done as a joke, he said no it was a serious statement about the way he felt.

So i asked him how he could be supporting green peace & its crusade against pollution etc when his camper was kicking out thick black fumes as he pulled onto the forecourt.

He just muttered summat about me being a heathen (along with a few other more colourful words) & left.

I hope i didn't upset him :D

Several weeks ago, I was on my way across country from London to Minehead in Somerset. I went into my all night Tesco`s for the odd can and a few pies? Their unleaded was 71.9 per litre. As my tank was full I didn`t bother. 200miles later in the backwoods of Somerset I came across a 1 man-band 24hr petrol station ( you stayed in the motor whilst the old guy filled the tank)? 67.9 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked him why he charged so little?

His reply will make you all sick!!

He stated `You want petrol? You got it! If you want a shiny rest-room? You aint got it! If you want to buy sandwiches and flowers? **** off to the supermarket!!`

I just wished I could afford to live there!!

Paul.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!
