now i have finally got my firewall working in xp ,i usually use medium settings (default) but decided to set it to high :cool: just opening my mail intercepted 13 cookies from 6 items of mail ,what else is coming with the postman :(:)

even browsing e`bay has cookies flying in all directions :D most of them not from e`bay

I installed Mc Afees firewall it was so efficient it stopped all internet traffic completely! I got so pinged of with their useless help that Ive gone for AVg and Zonealarm, works fine!

with nortons you can allow cookies by default to certain sites you use a lot ,but it can warn you whilst on that site of any others ,even using THIS site a cookie from "skrinkle" :D was detected and stopped :)

I'm sure M$ was reported about it (by XP) before you found out.
