I heard of a girl in California who was presumed to be pregnant. She had all the signs, stomach swelling, morning sickness etc. She insisted she was a good girl and had never done 'it' with a boy.

Parents take her to GP who orders tests at the hospital. The Hospital find a growth in the stomach which turns out to be a live Octopus attatched to the stomach wall. According to the doctors she must have swallowed a live octopus egg when she was swimming in the ocean and it had attatched to the stomach as it would attatch to kelp in the wild.

Sound gross and it is probably a myth but according to a medical friend it is possible but highly improbable.
